Section 29-2-50 - Legislative findings and intent
The Legislature hereby finds and declares that:
(1) There exists a continuing need for comprehensive study, research and planning by the Legislature in the area of reapportionment; and,(2) It is necessary, therefore, that a permanent legislative committee on reapportionment be created to prepare for and develop a reapportionment plan for the state.
