Section 33-601.225 - Classification Screening for Youthful Offenders in Adult Facilities(1) The Bureau of Classification and Central Records shall continuously review classification data for inmates eligible for youthful offender designation to determine if the criteria for assignment to the youthful offender program is met. Offenders identified shall be classified and assigned as youthful offenders. Any inmate designated as a youthful offender shall be assigned to a youthful offender facility.(2) When inmates meeting the youthful offender criteria are received at non-youthful offender institutions, the staff should continuously review those cases for transfer to a youthful offender institution.Fla.
