Section 16VAC25-175-1926 - Federal Identical Construction Industry Standards (29 CFR 1926)

The following Construction Industry Standards ( 29 CFR 1926 ) are applicable in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

The regulations which have been published in the Virginia Register of Regulations are shown with the corresponding VR numbers on the table below. The 29 CFR 1926 sections which do not appear with VR numbers on the table below were mass adopted by the Safety and Health Codes Board in 1977.

Since these Construction Industry Standards are identical to the federal regulations and are available elsewhere, the Virginia Code Commission excluded the text of these regulations from the Virginia Administrative Code.

For a summary of the effect of amendments, the adoption of new regulations, the repeal of a regulation, or the stay of an effective date, and for a table of the VOSH terms equivalent to the federal terms of each regulation, see the Virginia Register volume and issue (VA.R.) following the effective date of the regulation.
