FRAUDS, STATUTE OF, § 60when lease in compliance with statute of frauds. Statute of frauds is satisfied if contract for lease of land for longer term than one year, or memorandum or note thereof, be signed by party alone who is sought to be charged, whether he be lessor or lessee.

Appeal from the Municipal Court of Chicago; the Hon. HAROLD P. O'CONNELL, Judge, presiding.
