PLAINTIFF'S MOTION FOR LEAVE TO EXCUSE LEAD COUNSEL FROM THE PRETRIAL CONFERENCE OR IN THE ALTERNATIVE TO RESCHEDULE THE PRETRIAL CONFERENCE
COMES NOW the Plaintiff; LEA CORDOBA, by and through undersigned counsel, pursuant to the Case Management and Scheduling Order in the above captioned matter, dated January 18, 2002, and this Court's Notice of Scheduling Final Pretrial Conference, dated December 6, 2002, and hereby files this Motion for Leave to Excuse Lead Counsel From Pretrial Conference, or in the Alternative, To Reschedule the Pretrial Conference and states the following:
1. The Final Pretrial Conference in this case is scheduled for Friday, March 7, 2003, at 10:00 a.m. (A copy of the Re-Notice Scheduling Final Pretrial Conference has been attached as Exhibit A.)
2. Plaintiff's lead trial counsel, Bernard H. Dempsey, Jr., must undergo surgery at Florida Hospital on Wednesday, March S, 2003, and will still be in post-surgery recovery on March 7, 2003.
